What is the problem?

Many of the flattest, best streets to get around town are currently not prioritized for people walking, biking, or taking transit.

What is the solution and opportunity (the 2017 priority)?

Madison St, Delridge Way SW, and Rainier Ave S are all being re-imagined and re-designed in 2017. You have an opportunity to help shape the future of these corridors to make sure they are easy to walk and bike along, and across.

How can you get involved?

Campaign Updates

  • Madison: Sign the petition to tell the Seattle Department of Transportation to fund and build a safe route for people to bike as part of the Madison Rapid Ride project.
  • Delridge: We are discussing design tradeoffs on the Delridge Way SW corridor with West Seattle Bike Connections, the Seattle Department of Transportation, Transportation Choices Coalition and Cascade Bicycle Club.
  • Rainier: The Rainier Ave SW multimodal corridor projects relates to the Accessible Mt Baker and Rainier Ave Safety Corridor project, both of which we have supported extensively in the past and will continue to support.
