We feel like we can hardly turn around before there is another Seattle Neighborhood Greenways group starting up! Formed in August 2011, Seattle Neighborhood Greenways are a rapidly growing volunteer coalition to plan and advocate for safe and comfortable streets connecting us to the places we use, whether we walk, drive, ride a bike, push a stroller, or move by wheelchair. We work closely with Seattle Department of Transportation to recommend greenways that work for well our communities.

We rely on the local knowledge of each neighborhood group to know the best routes to walk and bike. We’ve been assembling this local knowledge into a citywide map since the fall of 2011. Learn about our crowd-sourced map!
