Road safety in High Point has long been a concern. But when pedestrian James St. Clair was killed last December, SDOT began looking at long-term solutions. Some improvements have already been made and more are on the way. On October 22, all are invited to the first meeting of the 35th Avenue SW Road Safety Project, a "multi-year effort to enhance safety for all users through street improvements, increased enforcement patrols, and public awareness."
